Whereas today passengers are taking double tickets from available seats. Yet the government sees it in deficit. All these shortcomings prove that there is rampant corruption in railway management.
According to the National Crime Records Bureau, in 2014 about 18,000 out of about 28,000 people were killed due to train collisions and collisions. Even after completing 75 years of independence, people are compelled to travel like sheep in the general coaches of the railway today. The government still does not pay any attention to them. According to one figure, today 250 to 300 passengers travel in 72 seats in 1 coach.
Even after so much modernization, the present government has not been able to develop the system of ticket and seat management to date. Even today people make tickets by making a dent in it and also travel on the ticket of others. Even today we are unsuccessful in terms of security.
Rail Management Solutions Policy 2019
Our government has made a complete solution to every challenge and problems related to railway management. At the same time, the target of expansion has been set according to the increasing public population and increasing status of the passengers by rail. Such as :
Modernized all small and large platforms with rail line, plate form extension, management of catering, porter, helper, etc. with modern ticket management.
We will operate at least one express and one super fast trains from each division level. So that there is no inconvenience to the passengers and the crowd can be eliminated.
In the direction of making India commercially empowered, freight trains will be connected to every commercial location and ports to make cheap and easy traffic in the country. In this way, inflation will be controlled due to cheaper transportation.
Our government will eliminate unreserved seats. All seats will be reserved. All the seats will be made comfortable and will be equipped with all the amenities.
People living in the poverty line will be exempted in the ticket fee. This discount will be available only by filling the travel ID made on the basis of the confirmation of the Indian identity number.
Railway line extension: Currently, the railway line with two tracks is being expanded. The speed limit of which is 180 kmph. Which is very rare given the future. But in view of the increasing population of the country and the increasing train passengers. There is a need to build rail tracks according to the speed limit of expansion, as well as strengthening of security matters. For which our government has set targets.
We will make 300 to 400-speed tracks on the railway line. Our goal is to connect the capital of the states with the capital of the country. The four-tracked lines will be expanded to connect the capitals and major religious places. In which two trek lines will be for superfast trains. And two lines will be expanded for express and passenger trains. Along with this, two rail lines will also be expanded to connect all the ports and big business cities of the country. Which will be used exclusively for freight traffic. In this way, the target will be to expand the railway line with a total of 6 tracks. So that every rail can be made superfast. So that time and business of common man can be given momentum.
Expanding platforms: Our government will modernize all the platforms of the country and will expand new platforms. So that passengers can get convenience and traffic can be made congestion free.
Our government will create a model of all small and big platforms in the country. Accordingly, according to the budget, the target would be to build platforms according to the finished model. The model will be prepared after taking care of every minor thing on the platforms. The infrastructure and public facilities available at all stations will be modernized.
Rail Ticket Booking Service: At present, there is a lot of flaw in the railway ticket booking service. Even today, to cheat the passengers by putting a dent in every arrangement made by the government. Which the government has no control over. Even today, the ticket inspector collects the ticket against the passenger during the journey. Which is also fatal from a security point of view. Overall, the passenger is traveling unsafe by paying more than the travel ticket. The corruption prevailing in this has made this department a deficit department. We have developed a modern system of a complete reform of this system. Which is as follows:
Rail Ticket Management: At present, mainly two systems of ticketing are in use. First: railway ticket counter and second: online. In both systems, the passenger still has to face the problem.
We have made the ticketing system very easy and have developed transparent management from the security point of view. In our system, both reserved and unreserved tickets can be availed through railway ticket counters and ticket vending machines, websites, and apps.
Before traveling, it will be mandatory for the traveler to confirm himself. The person can create a travel ID after self-confirmation through Indian identification number. This process will be very easy. The traveler will be able to create a travel ID by confirming himself through the online website or app.
After creating this travel ID, the traveler will not have to log in to the website or app again and again, nor will he have to give his name, address, and age. In this system, the passenger will be able to take the ticket by filling the travel ID and selecting the place of departure.
We will install ticket vending machines in the populated areas to eliminate the rush to collect travel tickets at the railway station. With which people will be able to take crowd-free travel tickets.
This system will end problems like frequent login, payment failure, or disconnection in the app or website. The passenger has to fill the entry or exit point only by the travel ID. One can book tickets by paying through an easy process. The traveler can add his bank account while creating the travel ID. Which will make ticket payment easier.
We have developed such a system. That the ticket can be canceled one hour before the train departure. Canceled ticket payment will be refunded. Similarly, tickets for reserved seats can be taken one hour before train departure. If the ticket reserved seat is vacant during the journey, the passenger can find out the ticket status and can take the self ticket through the app. In this way, the arbitrariness and recovery by the ticket inspector will end.
With the introduction of this system, problems like fake tickets, travel on other tickets will be completely eliminated. We will be able to control the internal crime while making rail travel safe.
Ticket Checking System: In this system we will be given ETM (Electronic Ticket Machine) to each Ticket Collector (TC), Traveling Ticket Checker (TTE), and Traveling Ticket Inspector (TTI). Under which the passenger can be confirmed with the finger scanner, travel ID, or mobile number of the passenger.
Security Management :
Railway Line Safety: Such railway lines in the country pass through deserted paths. Where there is no human settlement far and wide. Sensors will be installed in the tracks passing through such places. So that the status of breakup or separation of tracks can be speeded up. Also every 200 meters, modern cameras will be installed in high pillars along the lines. So that the surroundings of the tracks can be monitored. In this way accidents from the breakup, cutting, etc. of rail tracks can be prevented.
Unmanned rail gates will be equipped with gates. Also at such gates where traffic is high. There will be construction of an overbridge.
The entry of outsiders selling food products in railway bogies will be prohibited. Our government will grant licenses to individuals selling food products at each of the stations. Those who will be given a special type of batch. Which the passenger can confirm the person selling.
Health care centers will be modernized at every railway station. So that any passenger can be provided with emergency medical care.
Major railway stations are covered with cameras. But smaller stations have no cameras and no security check system. In such a situation, anti-social people climb into bogies after stopping the train. In this way, the safety of life and property of the passengers remains in danger. Our government will work on every little security.
Passenger Service Management: Our government will invite people engaged in the service work of passengers. Such as: Will give license to porter, hawker, food seller, etc. We have developed a modern technology to manage them. In this system, we will have complete control over each and every activity. In this way, we will connect a large number of people with permanent self-employment.
